DOGS:
Shady Oaks Kennel, located in Clayton Georgia in the northeast Georgia mountains, has indoor kennels that are heated and air conditioned. We offer small kennels(2.5' x 4') for our smaller dogs and larger enclosures(3.5' x 7' and 5' x 7') for bigger dogs and multi-dog families. Beds and blankets from home are welcome. Shady Oaks Kennel is not liable for destroyed bedding or toys. Owners may bring their dog's own food or we charge an extra $1 per day to provide food for them.
For
outdoor exercise, we have a 1/2 acre play yard. This is a social setting with
usually 5-10 dogs. Aggressive or unsocial dogs are exercised in smaller play
yards of their own. Unneutered males are exercised at a different time as they
do get to run and play in the grass but not in the social play time with the
other dogs. Smaller dogs have a smaller play yard and a smaller playgroup of
their own. The weather and their comfort level depends on how much outdoor time
they have. We will walk dogs on a leash if
dog or owner prefers

Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo, Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
CATS:
Feline guests are kept in a light and airy room away from the dogs. They each have a kitty condo where litter box and food is kept.
Please
bring your cat's food.
